About us

Tokura Sdn Bhd was formed in 1988 with Japanese participation. It started its operation in September, 1988. The administrative office and factory are situated on a 8.5 acre site at Tangga Batu Industrial Estate, Melaka.

The factory is equipped with modern machineries including an automatic slitter line and six pipe making lines (complete with Eddy Current Test Facility). It produces various sizes of steel welded tubes and pipes by the high-frequency induction welding and arc-welding methods. Among the sizes are Round Pipes of 1/2" to 4" in diameter, Square Tubes of 1/2" x 1/2" to 3" x 3" in dimensions, Rectangular Tubes of 3/8" x 3/4" to 2" x 5" in dimensions and Electric Conduit Pipes. The installed capacity is 3800 m-tons per month.

The Company's products are widely used in the water piping, furniture, bicycle, fencing, railings, scalfolding, electrical conduits, automotive, construction and engineering industries. The Company is still actively planned for expansion in order to meet with the increasing demands.
